Independent Support Service

An Independent Supporter is someone who will be able to help you in completing Section A of the child or young person’s EHCP. They will meet with you and make sure that your and your child’s views are incorporated in the Plan. They also hold free information sessions at schools’ coffee mornings for parents and run workshops for young people so they will understand the whole process of transferring their Statement or LDA to an EHCP.

If your child’s statement is due for transfer, or if you need help in requesting for a statutory assessment, please call us on 020 8373 6273.
